Dance with the SandWitches at King Richard's Faire 2026

Don your most bewitching attire and bring your broom! On Sunday, October 25th, join the SandWitches for the “Fest-Evil" at King Richard’s Faire.

We embrace the Evil witches of storybook, film, media, and history in our attire for this year's faire.  Embrace the "FEST-EVIL" theme or just dress witchy with your hat and broom in tow.

Whether you’re part of a witchy dance group or flying solo, you’re invited to perform the enchanting “Shake Your Bacon” dance, inspired by the world-famous Wolfshäger Hexenbrut.

Important Details:

• Every individual dancing witch must register to join the spellbinding performance and attend the rehearsal the day of the performance for details and to sign the release.

• Children are welcome but must dance alongside an adult and be able to enter/leave quickly.  Please register together.

• Learn the dance prior, then practice with the SandWitches before performing for the crowd on the tournament field.

• You will receive an email from Luna Lisa giving you details of the day one week prior to the event.  

• You must buy tickets in order to enter King Richard's Faire. Use your Witchy Discount Code: WITCH-45 for $6 off adult tickets (valid only for 10/25).  Learn the dance with the online tutorial below, practice your moves, and then step into the magic as we unite for this one-of-a-kind witch dance under the autumn sky.

• Please have a costume and broom or staff staff to join the dance on field.

Learn the Witch Dance!

Learn from the Originals or online tutorials!  There are also witchy dancers in your area that can show you how!  You must attend a short rehearsal at King Richard's Faire on the day of the event.  There you will master your dance, meet other witchy dancers, and get the details of the "Fest-Evil" performance! 

The first video shows Wolfshager Hexenbrut performing the dance, and the second video has them teaching how to do the dance.
